Road rage suspect placed on BI watchlist
MANILA - A suspect in the murder of Renato Victor Ebarle Jr., son of assistant secretary Renato Ebarle, has been placed on the Bureau of Immigration watchlist, the bureau said Tuesday.
BI Commssioner Nonoy Libanan ordered that the name of Jason Ivler be included in the bureau’s watchlist to prevent the suspect from leaving the Philippines.
“The suspect is a flight risk, and poses an immediate danger to everyone and we should take every measure to prevent him from leaving the country,” the BI chief said a statement.
Libanan also directed Ferdinand Sampol, chief of the airport operations division and immigration supervisors at the Ninoy Aquino International Airports, Diosdado Macapagal International Airport Laoag International Aiport, Mactan International Airport and Davao International Aiport, to immediately implement the order against Ivler.
Ivler is the main suspect in the murder of Ebarle whom he apparently shot on November 18 due to a traffic altercation.
Ebarle was shot to death with a .45 caliber pistol when his Toyota Land Cruiser almost collided with the Honda CRV driven allegedly by Ivler at the corner of Boni Serrano and Ganada streets in Quezon City.
Libanan said Ivler’s name will remain in the watchlist for a period of 60 days unless sooner terminated or extended.
In 2004, the BI also placed Ivler on their watchlist due to another vehicular accident, which resulted to the death of former Undersecretary Nestor Ponce Jr. of the Presidential Assistant for Resettlement.
Ivler, an American citizen, reportedly attempted to leave the country through in 2004 aboard the MV Mary Joy bound for Sandakan, Malaysia, where he was arrestedby immigration agents.
He is the stepson of Stephen Pollard, a consultant of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The suspect used his stepfather’s car with plate number “20903” when the incident happened.
The Quezon City Police District has already filed criminal charges against Ivler before the Quezon City prosecutor's office.
PINNED DOWN
MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday released the results of the ballistic tests on the handgun used by Jason Aguilar Ivler in both the November 18 killing of Renato Victor Ebarle Jr. and during the shootout with NBI operatives last Monday.
The bullet taken from the body of Ebarle Jr., son of Palace official Renato Ebarle Sr., the bullets found and taken by police from the vehicle of Ebarle Jr. last November 18 , and the bullets found in the residence of Ivler's mother, Marlene Aguilar, in Blue Ridge, Quezon City matched with the test bullets from the Kimber .45 caliber pistol recovered from Ivler during the encounter last Monday with arresting NBI agents.
Ivler allegedly shot dead Ebarle Jr. following a traffic altercation near the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Ivler was shot and injured during Monday's encounter with NBI operatives. He is currently recuperating at the Quirino Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City. -- report from Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News

Best "LEGAL" Advise For IVLER
He only had killed TWO human beings YET, and that is way too low for the 'acceptable' limit of 'allowable' murders in Philippines. The Ampatuans have killed 52 (and still counting), so that should not even be an issue. If mathematics would serve right for the sake of government statistics, he could even kill another 50 more. No big deal, if he plays his cards very well.
All he needs to do is join Lakas-Kampi and run for any elective position for this coming elections. And then, not as if it shall be surprising, Jesus Dureza would even pay him a visit in his abode for photo-ops, and share the details on how he killed the poor guy in jest, in laughters and high fives, over a cup of coffee.
And to his parents, all I can say is; don't humble yourself too much. Your son did nothing wrong. He should even be labeled as a good samaritan because he only killed TWO, not fifty-TWO.
Gloria won't budge for his little misdemeanor. Killings is not an issue with her. TRUST ME.
I have some questions
I have some questions surrounding Jason's alleged incident. Please help me answer these questions.
The mother Marlene Aguilar, wrote a book denouncing America's supremacist intent to propagate war, arguing with some of their most powerful military officials. And because of this that family's lives have been under threat for two years. Many things have happened including Jason Ivler being detained for 3 months in the US,framed for a crime he didn't commit.Later on they let him go,after he threatened to kill himself. The families spiritual adviser Paulie Caoli was taken by the Americans as well and was questioned for over 6 hours.Other stranged events have occured which one can read in the book, see www.marleneaguilar.com,the first 5 chapters of the book Warriors of Heaven is posted there.
COME TO THINK OF IT
when he tried to flee to Malaysia last 2004, he was escorted by a police colonel and two other policemen.

...Stephen Pollard should be considered persona non-grata by the government for harboring a criminal since 2004. And why does he go around with a body guard?
BI???
So are they telling us that this person who was involved on a deadly vehicular accident, tried to flee the country to avoid prosecution, out on bail but he has been ignoring all his hearing IS NOT ON A FREAKING BI LIST to begin with? NBI claimed that he is a fugitive before this shooting happened but manage to roam around the country openly? WHAT THE FUCK DOES BI stands for? BWAKANG INA nyong lahat na law enforcement? BI stands for BOBONG INUTIL ang PNP, NBI and whoever the FUCK that enforces law in PI?. PI as in Puking Ina talaga mga pulis satin. Kakainit ng dugo. I feel sorry for the victims and their families. Gano ba kalakas tong hayup na to and even Malacanang cant touch him.
