MANILA, Philippines - MetroStar Express on Tuesday announced the schedule of operations of MRT3 during the holidays.

The announced schedule covered the periods of December 24-25 and December 30, 2009-January 1, 2010.

The schedule announced by the operator of the mass rail transit system along EDSA Ave. would have the trains starting later than the usual 5 a.m. start and in most of the holidays would also end earlier than the usual 1 a.m. for the last special revenue operation coaches.

The number of trains that would be operating during the holiday period would also be reduced from the usual 12-20 trains during weekdays to just 10-11 trains during the holiday schedule.

The schedule of operations of MRT3 is as follows:

 The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) also announced on Tuesday operating hours of the LRT lines 1 and 2 for the holiday.
