MANILA, Philippines – Four houses were razed in a blaze at 420 Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue, May Bunga, Pasig City early Monday morning.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Monday and reached the second alarm before being declared out at 4:00 a.m.

Initial investigations showed that the fire started at the house of a certain Maxima Kagalingan and was caused by faulty Christmas lights.

The fire quickly spread to three nearby houses. No one was reported injured from the fire.
