MANILA, Philippines – Cebu Pacific and AirPhil Express on Thursday cancelled some of its flights due to bad weather in the Visayas and Mindanao.

• 5J 374 – Roxas - Manila
• 5J 787 – Manila – Butuan
• 5J 788 – Butuan – Manila

AirPhil Express

• 2P 967 – Manila – Butuan
• 2P 968 – Butuan – Manila
• 2P 065 – Manila – Surigao
• 2P 066 – Surigao – Manila

Weather bureau PAGASA said the rains being experienced in parts of Mindanao were due to a low pressure area spotted 480 kilometers southeast ot General Santos City at 8 a.m.

The LPA, embedded along the intertropical convergence zone, was expected to bring moderate to heavy rains (5.0 - 15.0 mm/hr) and thunderstorms in Bohol, Leyte, Samar and Mindanao.
