This will continue to bring cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, especially in the Caraga Region and Compostela Valley, Leyte and Samar Provinces, Negros Provinces, Cebu and Bohol which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
Authorities have advised residents to take all the necessary precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is expected to affect northern and eastern Luzon, Visayas, Caraga Region, Misamis Provinces, Zamboanga Del Norte, Davao Oriental and Davao Del Sur.
Small sea crafts and fishing vessels were advised not to venture out into the sea due to the big waves generated by this weather system.
