Prosecutors in Zamboanga City have expressed their support to Chief State Prosecutor Jovencito Zuño who was required by President Arroyo to file a leave of absence pending an investigation on the bribery allegations on the “Alabang Boys” drug case.

City Prosecutor Ricardo Cabaron said that as lawyers, they are supposed to be experts of the law. Thus, they expect to be accorded with fair and objective proceedings.

Cabaron said they are "closely observing the developments in the case of the so-called Alabang Boys."

"It is expected for us to support the Chief State Prosecutor." Cabaron added. "If we see that they are becoming victims of injustice, then we will also raise our voice and throw in our support for them."
