Suspected American pedophiles nabbed in Cagayan de Oro
MANILA, Philippines - Two elderly Americans were arrested by police while about to have sex with a 15-year-old girl in a hotel in Cagayan de Oro City, police said Thursday.
The suspects were identified as James Robert Naquin, 62 and James Leon Edler, 69. Both suspects are from Oklahoma.
Senior Superintendent Benedict Lopez, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office chief, said the 2 were already undressing the 15-year-old girl when police barged into their hotel room.
Lopez said the operation was conducted after a 17-year-old girl informed the Cagayan de Oro City police of the Americans' modus operandi.
He said that according to the girl, she was convinced by Naquin to have sex with her with a promise of marriage and P16,000 cash.
The girl alleged that Naquin went missing after having sex with her. Police said that according to the girl, the incident happened last year.
Senior Police Officer Leonila Milagroso, chief of the Cagayan de Oro City police's Women and Children's Desk, said they have been closely monitoring the 2 Americans.
Milagroso said their operatives seized a video from the 2 suspects, which showed footage of their young victims. Also seized from the 2 Americans were several nude pictures of girls.
The 2 are now detained at the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office and charges are being readied against them. With a report from Shiela Joy Labrador, ABS-CBN Cagayan de Oro

It is really true that not only americans, europeans and other foriegners are child molester. Look at the filipino officer who was arrested for bringing the child victims in the hotel. It is a big shame to the filipinos that we can not trust our police officers anymore!!!!!The media nad a big deal on thier reports without complete knowledge how exactly it was happened before they have to deliver thier reporst. Foreigners are just like us filipinos there are bad and there good ones. Some were coming here for a good intentions. We all know filipino families are starving to death...even the police officers force the foriegners to commit the crime so they can extort money..because they are not paid enough for thier services.

americans and europeans and other foriegners are all not a molester. Some are coming here for good intentions, they are also human, like filipinos some are good some are not. But what really the difference is....foriegners are like a BIG FISH......we know filipino police officers forcing foriegners to commit the crime to extort money.

Thank you God for more arrest of these pedophile Americans. It is about time that these perpetrators for young and innocent filipina are put to jail and I hope they will go rotten in jail. There should be no bail out allowed for these sex maniac. All the women in the Philippines, must report or please continue to report any anomalies of European and American podophiles.
