COTABATO CITY, Philippines – Police are hunting down two inmates who bolted out of the M’lang Municipal Police Station in North Cotabato at dawn on Wednesday.

The escapees were identified by authorities as Nasser Dalgan and Tatsly Sanoy.

Police said three inmates escaped the detention facility but a pursuit operation led to the recapture of Ramil Sumaray.

Initial investigations revealed that the detainees were able to escape by stealing the key from the jail guards.

Police are also probing the two jail personnel on duty during the jail break.
