The victims have yet to be identified, but police believe that one of them is a woman.

 

“Isa hinihinalang babae base sa mga gamit pambabae na na-recover,” reported dzMM’s Dennis Datu on Saturday.

 

The Batangas City Police said a burning car was sighted past 10 p.m. along the dark portion of the National Road in Barangay Tinga Itaas.

 

The burnt Honda Jazz also bore bullet holes, police said.

 

On Saturday morning, the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) returned to the area to gather more evidence. Authorities will also use the car’s engine number to get information that would hopefully lead to the identity of the victims.
