Three members of a family, including a six-year-old boy, died after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck in Guagua town, Pampanga province, Thursday night.

Police said Albert Sunga, his wife Jackielou and son Diego were on board a motorcycle when a speeding truck hit them along the Olongapo-Gapan Road in Barangay San Jose, around 8 p.m.

Investigators said the motorcycle was violently pulled by the truck, instantly killing the victims.

The victims' kin said the three went out of their house to buy dinner when the accident happened.

Julie Dandanon, the truck driver, denied he was overspeeding and claimed he was just cruising along the road.

Witnesses, however, belied Dandanon's claim.

Police were readying charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide against the truck driver. -- report from Thessa Pineda, ABS-CBN Pampanga
