MANILA, Philippines – A candidate running for vice mayor in Mobo, Masbate was rushed to a hospital on Saturday after he was shot by unidentified suspects, police said.

The victim, Isagani Lupangco, was shot by gunmen on board two motorcycles at around 4:30 p.m.

Lupangco sustained 3 gunshot wounds.
