MANILA, Philipines - Strong waves capsized a fishing boat in waters off the coastal town of Maconacon, Isabela Wednesday, killing one fisherman and leaving another still missing.

A police spot report said three fishermen --William Villoga, Edgar Villamora and Lito Dizon -- were on their way to Maconacon from Penablanca, Cagayan when strong waves capsized their boat.

Villoga managed to swim to safety and immediately reported the incident to authorities.

Rescue teams later recovered the body of Dizon on the shoreline of Divilacan town.

As of posting time, police have yet to find the body of Villamora.
