USS Guardian salvage ops continue
MANILA, Philippines – Salvors have removed the exhaust pipe of the USS Guardian, as operations continue to remove the stranded ship from the Tubbataha Reef in Palawan.
According to Philippine Coast Guard spokesman Lieutenant Commander Armand Balilo, the funnel was halved in order for it to be loaded by a crane onto the Jascon 25.
