23 of 220 graduating PMA cadets are females

Twenty-three female cadets are among the 220 members of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 2008 who are set to graduate next week, with one female cadet joining the top 10.


Cadet Me-An Sinson from Legazpi, Albay who is slated to enter Philippine Air Force (PAF) is graduating number three in PMA Class 2008.


Cadet Ariel Rallos from Zamboanga City is the valedictorian of PMA BAGHAWI (Bagong Halaw ng Lahi) Class 2008 and is set to join the officers of the Philippine Navy after graduation. Graduating number two in the class is Cadet Bernard Roderick Joaquin from Aguilar, Pangasinan who is also set to join the PAF officer corps.


Cadets Dennis Legaspi, Vergel Lacambra, Carlo Catalan, and Francisco Pondoyo Jr. are graduating number four, five, six and seven, respectively.


Graduating numbers eight, nine and 10 respectively are Marc Louie Parado, Dennis Moreno, and Vay Caballero.


The Class 2008 graduation rites will take place on March 18 at the Borromeo Field, PMA in Baguio City.


PMA Class 2007 has a female cadet as valedictorian with two others in the top ten. Two other female cadets have graduated as valedictorian from 1993 when PMA started accepting women as cadets.
