Four suspected shabu pushers were arrested in a series of raids by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Subic town, Zambales province, early Friday.

PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon identified the suspects as brothers Mario and Melanio Sabian, Marcelito Aquino and Emilio Lopez.

Carreon said the four were arrested in simultaneous raids conducted in Barangay Calapacuan. Seized from the suspects were P100,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.

The PDEA said Mario was a known drug pusher in the area.

A radio dzMM report said that as of 9 a.m., PDEA operatives were poised to search four more houses in the village.

The four suspects have been brought to the PDEA office.
