Magnitude 4.1 quake hits Kidapawan

MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Kidapawan City, North Cotabato Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs said the earthquake occurred at 2:14 p.m. Its epicenter was located 33 kilometers northwest of Kidapawan City.
Intensity 3 (weak) was felt in Kidapawan City and Makilala, North Cotabato.
The earthquake was described as tectonic in origin and had a depth of 15 kilometers.
No damage was reported due to the quake.
Phivolcs said aftershocks are not expected from the earthquake.
