LA UNION, Philippines – Personnel and patrons of CSI Shopping Mall in Barangay Biday, San Fernando City, La Union were moved to safety when fire broke out around 5 p.m. on Friday.

Employees of the mall said the fire started at the 2nd floor where the furniture section is located. The fire then spread to the cinemas, appliance center and clothes department.

No casualties were reported.

Firefighters from La Union and Pangasinan immediately responded to the scene. By 8:30 p.m., the Bureau of Fire Department declared the fire out.
