Magnitude 4 quake hits Batangas

MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 4 earthquake struck Calatagan, Batangas Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the earthquake occurred at 11:48 a.m. Its epicenter was located 13 kilometers northwest of Calatagan.
The earthquake was tectonic in origin. It had a depth of 123 kilometers.
No tremor was felt in any part of the province. Likewise, no damage was reported.
Phivolcs said aftershocks are not expected from the earthquake.
