MANILA, Philippines – A man and his son were killed in a vehicular accident in Iloilo on Thursday afternoon.

Arnel Cayetano, 52, and his son RJ, 23, died after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a bus in Calinog town at around 5 p.m. They then slid under the massive vehicle.

A second passenger, Arnel’s son Arnel Jr., 19, is in critical condition after the accident.

Police said the Tapaz town-bound motorcycle shifted to the opposite lane, resulting in a collision with the bus that was carrying some 10 passengers.

Bus driver Manuel Poras immediately surrendered to the police. He is facing a charge of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical injury. – report from Regi Adosto, ABS-CBN News Iloilo
