De Lima's security aide killed
MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) - A close-in security aide of Justice Sec. Leila De Lima, Ali Quintos, 32 years old, was gunned down and found in San Ildefonso, Bulacan this morning.
A visibly distraught De Lima ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to investigate Quintos' death.
De Lima is clueless about the motive behind the killing, saying Quintos did not mention any threats to his life.
Quintos, an organic member of the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Internal Service Operations Group (ISOG), was dropped off in Cubao by De Lima's other close-in body guards last night after duty.
Quintos hailed from Antipolo City but was found dead beside a road in San Ildefonso.
His remains were autopsied this morning.
