'Feria' maintains strength, threatens Mindoro
MANILA - Tropical storm Feria (international codename Nangka) maintained its strength Wednesday morning as it continued to move closer to the Batangas-Mindoro area.
As of 10 a.m., the storm's center was sighted 60 kilometers east of Calapan City.
Packing 75 kph winds and gusts of up to 90 kph, the storm is forecast to reach 70 kilometers west of Iba, zambales by Thursday morning.
Weather bureau PAGASA has hoisted Storm Signal No. 2 in the following areas:
