Woman hacked by live-in partner
MANILA, Philippines – A 25-year-old woman was rushed to a hospital after she was hacked by her live-in partner in Barangay Ipilan, Brooke's Point, Palawan on Tuesday, police said.
Police said the victim survived after she was hacked multiple times by her live-in partner, 47-year-old Fernando Tubo.
The victim sustained wounds in her head, arms and body.
Palawan Provincial Command Spokesperson Inspector Salvador Tabis said the victim is now in stable condition at the South Palawan Provincial Hospital.
Initial investigation showed that jealousy was the motive behind the attack.
Police are now in pursuit of Tubo, who remains at large. -- Report from Romy Luzares, dzMM
