BATANGAS - A 46-year-old owner of a bakery in Bauan town was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside his shop early Thursday morning, police said.
Bauan police Chief Inspector Arturo Divino identified the victim as Franklin Rapsing, resident of Barangay Poblacion 2 and owner of Franks Bakery.
According to Divino, they are now tracking down the location of one of Rapsing's helpers who they suspect was responsible in the crime.
Police said the victim and the suspect, whom they refused to identify so as not to jeopardize the ongoing operation, had a spat before the killing happened.
Probers said the suspect likewise allegedly robbed the bakery, bringing along with him cellphones and other items.
