ZAMBOANGA, Philippines - Three policemen were hurt after their vehicle lost its breaks while speeding along a highway in Zamboanga City, Friday.

The policemen were identified as Chief Inspector Antonio Duruin,Senior Police Officer 1 Julie Lumuyod and Police Officer 3 Muamar Julkanain Hassan.

Reports said the victims were on board a jeepney when the accident happened. The policemen suffered head injuries.

Hassan, who was driving the jeepney, told ABS-CBN News that he had no idea why their vehicle's breaks malfunctioned. -- Report from Jewel Reyes, ABS-CBN Zamboanga
