MANILA, Philippines - Police have arrested the suspect in the gruesome massacre of 5 people in Angeles City last July 22.
Senior Superintendent Agrimero Cruz, Philippine National Police spokesman, said suspect Mark Dizon was arrested by a police team in La Union province around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Cruz said the arrest was made in front of the San Fernando Plaza at the corner of Batagan and Quezon avenues.
Dizon is the suspect in the killing of American war veteran Albert Mitchell, his Filipina wife, Janet and 3 household helpers.
The bodies of the 5 victims were discovered inside their home along Manuela Street, Hensonville Court, Barangay Malabanias in Angeles City on July 22.
