PDEA discovers marijuana farm in Misamis

MANILA, Philippines - Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) uprooted 125 marijuana plants from a farm in Jasaan town, Misamis Oriental province on Thursday.
The PDEA said that the marijuana plantation was discovered through information from a resident of Barangay Luz Banzon.
The agency said that according to the informant, maintainers of the plantation have already harvested twice this year.
It said that the uprooted marijuana plants has an estimated street value of P25,000 to P35,000.
Authorities are conducting follow-up operations to identify the plantation's maintainers. -- Report from Primy Cane, ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao
