Help sought to identify baby's body from sea mishap
MANILA – Parents or relatives who may be missing a baby following the tragic collision between two vessels off the coast of Talisay City are urged to coordinate with a funeral parlor after a body of a child was brought to them.
The St. Francis Memorial Homes has custody over the remains of a baby, believed to be less than a year old.
The baby had a life vest on when recovered and brought to the funeral home.
The baby was also wearing a red shirt, a diaper and yellow socks.
The funeral home appeals to anyone who may have information about the identity of the baby to call them at 261-2166.
Authorities said 58 infants were among the 752 passengers of M/V St. Thomas Aquinas that sank 10 minutes after colliding with Sulpicio Express 7 at Lawis Ledge at 9:05 p.m. on Friday. Report from Jaworski Alipon, ABS-CBN News Central Visayas
