MANILA, Philippines - (UPDATE) Gunmen abducted a local businessman in Marawi City, Tuesday morning.

Police said 5 unidentified gunmen snatched Abdulcarim Magarang, a local businessman, along Ampauan Street in Barangay Lilod Madaya around 6 a.m..

Chief Superintendent Bienvenido Latag, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police director, said the gunmen hauled Magaram into a waiting white Honda Civic.
