P50M shabu seized from 2 women in Masbate

MANILA, Philippines – Two women were arrested for allegedly carrying P50-million worth of shabu on a bus bound for Masbate City.
Cebu natives, Faith Gadiane, 25, and Susan Hope Florita, 26, were arrested at 10 a.m. Wednesday. They are now under the custody of the Masbate Police.
Masbate Provincial Police commander, Senior Superintendent Thomas Seminiano, said the suspects were on board a RORO Bus with body number 601 bound for Cataingan, Masbate.
Police and military operatives allegedly discovered 5 kilos of shabu inside the suspects’ bag.
“The street value of the drug haul was pegged at P50 million by PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority),” Seminiano said. -- report from Noel Alamar, radio dzMM
