A son of Indanan, Sulu Mayor Alvarez Isnaji was arrested for frustrated murder in Zamboanga City, ABS-CBN Regional Network Group reported Friday.

Rommel "Eming" Isnaji was collared by authorities in Barangay Tumaga Thursday morning and was immediately committed to the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center.

Regional Trial Court-9 Judge Peter Eisma issued the arrest warrant against Isnaji for allegedly shooting a certain Ronald Montojo.

The Isnaji family immediately posted P200,000 bail bond imposed by the court for their kin's temporary freedom.

Isnaji’s father was tagged as the mastermind in the kidnapping of ABS-CBN senior correspondent Ces Drilon, her crew and Mindanao State University Professor Octavio Dinampo in June this year.

Another son, Haider, is also detained for his alleged participation in the kidnapping incident.
