CEBU, Philippines - Bureau of Immigration personnel at the Mactan Cebu International Airport and other airports in the country have been alerted on the possible flight from the country of a teacher of Cebu International School.

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has issued a hold departure order against Susan Ward Rigby.

Rigby is a teacher of 14-year-old Jae Hak Jun and 13-year-old Kyle David Gullas Weckman, a grandson of former Cebu Congressman Dodong Gullas, who drowned while swimming in a waterfall during a field trip in Morong, Bataan last week.

According to the Bureau of Immigration, the Weckman family has filed a case of homicide through reckless imprudence against the teacher.

Immigration officials said Rigby has not left Cebu yet.
