Indian trader survives ambush in Ilocos Norte
MANILA – An Indian businessman on board his vehicle survived an ambush in Batac City in Ilocos Norte on Tuesday.
Jaswinder Singh was shot in the leg by gunmen on board a motorcycle.
Singh was driving with his cousin, Amarender, in the passenger seat when the suspects overtook them and fired at the vehicle.
Singh’s cousin was not hurt in the incident.
Singh continued to drive despite his gunshot wound and was able to get help from a police substation.
