Gov Vi suspends classes on Monday in Batangas
Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto on Sunday has suspended classes in all levels, private and public, in the province on Monday.
The suspension of classes was announced by Vice Gov. Mark Leviste during the Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council meeting Sunday morning. Recto is presently in Los Angeles, USA.

A taho vendor was killed when he was crushed by falling trees in Calaca town Saturday morning.
Calaca mayor Nas Ona identified the victim as Rommel Morcia, a resident of Mataas Na Bayan in Calaca. The victim was reportedly took shelter along the highway in Barangay Sinisian when a strong wind toppled a number of trees that fell directly on him and killed him.
