PAGASA monitoring LPA near Eastern Samar
MANILA, Philippines – State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) that was last spotted 810 kilometers east of Guiuan in Eastern Samar.
The LPA is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) across Palawan and Visayas.
PAGASA said the LPA could intensify into a tropical depression, which would be named Quedan.
Those in MIMAROPA, as well as Visayas and Mindanao, can expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. – ANC.
