MANILA, Philippines – The National Police Commission (Napolcom) has ordered the recall of 387 new policemen linked to the alleged widespread cheating in the entrance exam last year.
Napolcom Exams Division acting head Rebecca Pacion said the commission has already sent a letter to Philippine National Police chief Nicanor Bartolome asking to recall the 387 policemen within 30 days.
An investigation revealed that the 387 policemen, mostly from Mindanao, were allegedly involved in widespread cheating during the PNP entrance examination last April 17, 2011.
Napolcom said the answers in the test sheets of the examinees were nearly identical. – report from Dexter Ganibe, dzMM
