Zamboanga del Norte Rep. Cesar Jalosjos was rushed to the Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center Sunday night after his blood pressure shot up while at his home in Dapitan City.
His doctor said Monday that the congressman's condition and vital signs are now stable. The doctor said Jalosjos is resting at the hospital's intensive care unit.
"Mataas lang blood pressure niya pero stable na ang vital sign niya sa ngayon. we are closely monitoring him," said hospital nurse supervisor Doris Bataga.
The second-term congressman is 56 years old.
