'Tino' leaves PH area of responsibility
MANILA – Typhoon "Tino" left the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
PAGASA said Tino, which did not affect any part of the country after entering PAR on Monday morning, was already 1,140 kilometers east of Northern Taiwan as of 4 a.m.
Tino was packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gusts of up to 185 kph.
It is forecast to move north northeast at 20 kph and bring an estimated rainfall amount of 7.5 to 15 millimeters per hour (heavy to intense) within its 700-km diameter.
