MANILA, Philippines – A woman from T'boli, South Cotabato died after she sat on a grenade that exploded.

Supt. Ricky Rimua, chief of South Cotabato Police, said Julilinid Ming, 21, sat on the grenade in the middle of a rice field in Barangay Afus.

Rimua said Ming was a criminology student at the Regency Polytechnic College in Koronadal City.

It was not yet established if Ming's death was accidental or a case of suicide. Report from Edwin Sevidal, dzMM
