Tropical depression Pablo-turned-LPA dissipates
MANILA, Philippines – Tropical depression "Pablo", which weakened into a low pressure area on Sunday afternoon, has dissipated, a weather bureau official said on Monday.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) Administrator Nathaniel Servando said the LPA dissipated Sunday evening even before making landfall in northern Luzon.
Last week, Pablo hit Mindanao leaving hundreds dead and thousands homeless.
According to latest reports, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) executive director Benito Ramos said the death toll from Pablo rose to 647.
