New magma dome forming

MANILA, Philippines - A total of 78 tremors were recorded around Mayon Volcano Wednesday, prompting scientists and government officials to conduct an aerial survey of the seething volcano.

The aerial survey, done by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and the Department of National Defense (DND), confirmed the presence of a new magma dome forming within the volcano.

This dome is formed by lava and rocks that have been pushed up the crater due to increasing pressure within the volcano.

Scientists fear that once the volcano explodes, these rocks would be thrown towards the areas nearby, causing damage to property and agriculture.

On Wednesday morning, Phivolcs recorded 5 ash explosions, with the last one, recorded at around 11 a.m., having a 500-meter smoke column.

Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum said that this means the volcano would likely explode any day from now.

Solidum said that they are closely monitoring the volcano as eruption remains imminent.

Authorities are strictly implementing the ban of people within the 8-kilometer danger zone around the volcano.

Alert level 3 is still in effect over the affected areas, and mandatory evaacuations are still ongoing. A total of 6,559 families (or 30,761 people) are now housed at 21 evacuation centers. With a report from Jose Carretero, ABS-CBN News

Mayon is going to erupt!

This mountain erupted in 1984,---9 years later

it erupted -----------in 1993---=7 years later

it erupted------------in 2000----6 years later

it erupted------------in 2006----3 years later -this year 2009 is the next eruption, based on the natural spiral exhibited by many real systems and even objects in space and many objects here on earth. This is a collapsing spiral with the time sequence that is referred by scientist as "Fibinochi numbers." Think of the timing of the eruption process as a system following all the physical laws. The time it is following is different because the time sequence is coming faster and faster. It is not a linear time but a time following a collapsing spiral.
It is very active in nature. Fibinochi numbers predict things as different as the population of rabbits over time to the distance between the orbits of the planets. This eruption is working the Fibinochi nubbers backwards, and this may be the strongest eruption to date.
