MANILA, Philippines - The chairman of the Commission on Elections confirmed Friday that socialite Rosemarie “Baby” Arenas is running for congresswoman of Pangasinan in the 2013 mid-term polls.

Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. said Arenas will substitute for her daughter, Pangasinan 3rd District Rep. Rachel Arenas, who withdrew from the race.
