CEBU – Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma visited suspended Governor Gwendolyn Garcia in her office at the Cebu provincial capitol Friday night.

Their closed door meeting lasted for almost two hours.

Aside from the governor and Archbishop Palma, also present during the private talk were members of the Garcia family.

Archbishop Palma did not give details about his talk with the suspended governor. He said he wished that the crisis in the Cebu provincial capitol will soon be resolved.

The archbishop promised to give his reaction about the controversy on December 26 during the Christmas party at the Archbishop's Palace.

Meanwhile, capitol-owned television network Sugbo TV has been ordered to shut down by acting governor Agnes Magpale.

The station’s operations were stopped starting Friday.

Employees have been informed that the network will officially be closed on December 31.
