2 earthquakes jolt Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines - Two earthquakes jolt Surigao del Sur province on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The Phivolcs said the first earthquake occurred at 6:14 a.m., traced at 122 kilometer northeast of Tandag municipality.
The tremor measured at magnitude 5.2 and was tectonic in origin.
Another earthquake took place around 6:35 a.m. at 118 kilometer northeast of the same municipality.
The 2nd earthquake measured at magnitude 5.0 and was also tectonic in origin.
Both earthquakes were felt at Intensity 2 in Surigao City. With a report from ABS-CBN Caraga
