Exclusibong nakunan ng ABS-CBN News team ang pagdakip sa lider ng carnapping group na si Ivan Padilla na unang inireport ng TV Patrol. Bagama’t sugatan matapos umanong makipagbarilan sa mga pulis, buhay at nainterbyu pa siya ng aming News team kahapon. Pero marami ang nagulat nang mabalitaang patay na siya. Lumutang tuloy ang tanong kung sinadya bang hindi siya agad isinugod sa ospital kaya siya binawian ng buhay.

Military paying civilians to retrieve dead soldiers, says MILF

The military is paying civilians to recover the bodies of eight soldiers killed in action in Maguindanao province over the weekend, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front said Wednesday. A report on the MILF Central Committee on Information Web site (www.luwaran.com) said eight Army soldiers were killed during a firefight between government forces and Moro rebels in Bialong village, Shariff Aguak last Sunday.
