Jobs are being lost everywhere as the global recession bites.
But there's one Pinoy who has the chance to land what's been dubbed as the best job in the world.
The search for the person who will act as care-taker and blogger for a group of islands in Australia's Great Barrier Reef has been narrowed down to 50 candidates.
One of them is a 20-year-old Pinoy living in Guam named Rafaelito de Ausen.
The job entails getting paid for living in a luxurious beach house, snorkeling and diving in the Great Barrier Reef's pristine waters.
Public voting will determine the final candidate from among the 50 applicants.
Voting ends on March 24. -- report from ANC
