MANILA, Philippines - Emotions ran high as the third batch of Filipino repatriates from quake-hit Haiti arrived in Manila Sunday.

The third batch of repatriates, who arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 aboard Philippine Ailines Flight PR 103 Sunday morning, were welcomed by relatives.

The quake survivors were visibly still shaken by their experiences back in Haiti, as family members embraced them as they walked out of the terminal.

Candelaria Dublois was welcomed by her mother Teofila, who waited at the airport's arrival area even before dawn.

Dublois said she is thankful for everyone who helped her go home.

Meanwhile, Joan Suspeña was in the verge of tears while recounting how she and her mother Aurora were rescued from a collapsed market in Port-au-Prince.

Mario Repizo, meanwhile, cried as he recounted scenes of death and destruction in the country they left behind.

Despite the trauma, Ronaldo Sison is still thinking of going back to his work in Haiti, once everything goes back to normal.

The fourth batch of repatriates, numbering 41 people, will arrive on Wednesday. From a report by Israel Malasa, ABS-CBN News
