World-class Filipino singer Charice Pempengco gave it her all for the new station ID of The Filipino Channel (TFC).

“Masaya ako kasi TFC ito, so around the world. Iba yung feeling na gawing video ito kasi mas mafi-feel mo na talagang Pilipino ka. Kasama mo mga kabataan na nagpe-perform tapos si direct sasabihin kailangang pakiramdaman ninyo na Filipino kayo," Charice said.

The singing sensation was chosen to sing TFC’s theme song “Dahil Tayo’y Pilipino” together with Filipino international pop star Billy Crawford.

The launching of the new station ID and theme song coincides with the 15th anniversary of The Filipino Channel this year.

Charice, who has appeared in various international television shows and performed in one of the inaugural parties for US President Barack Obama, was picked out to be an inspiration to Pinoys all over the world.

TFC hopes its new station theme will inspire Pinoys to overcome obstacles and reach new heights.
