A Filipino flight stewardess got lucky in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) after winning more than P12 million in the country's National Bonds raffle draw.
Charela Bambila Tigno won the 1 million dirham first prize in UAE’s national savings scheme.
Tigno said she will use the money to establish her dream business aside from pledging an amount to a charitable institution in the Philippines.
Tigno was the first winner of the weekly National Bonds draw which offers a million dirham (over 12 million Philippine pesos) to the lucky winner.
Many Filipinos are encouraged to participate in the UAE national saving scheme of the National Bonds Corporation especially at the possiblity of winning the lucrative draw. With a report from Dindo Amparo, ABS-CBN Middle East News Bureau
