Pinoy among survivors of capsized vessel in Qatar - report

A Filipino was among the five people who survived a sea mishap when their vessel capsized off the Qatari coast, an online news provider reported.
According to a report published online by The Peninsula on Wednesday, the vessel, Demas Victory, sank near Doha Channel Tuesday morning.
The Dubai-based supply vessel had reportedly 35 people on board when the vessel sank.
The five rescued survivors were reportedly composed of three Indian nationals, a Filipino and the Indonesian captain.
It was reported that rescue teams also fished out a body while search continues to locate the rest of the vessel's missing passengers.
The identity of the fatality has yet to be confirmed as well as the reason behind the tragedy.
