ITALY - A Filipino was among the lucky individuals who made it to the list of dancers in Sony Entertainment’s music video tribute for pop icon, Michael Jackson in Italy.

"We are actually dedicating this dance to our idol Michael Jackson. It will be inserted in the official website of Sony Entertainment and we hope will be inserted in the official film of Michael Jackson coming soon,” said Leejay Ramirez, 19.

Sony Entertainment held the first video shooting of some 100 talented youth dancers who passed the strict auditions in Italy.

“We made this video unique because we wanna show to the people Michael Jackson’s choreography,” said Ramirez.

Ramirez has had his share of the spotlight after being one of the models of John Casablanca’s Model and Talent Management in Italy. He also appeared on national television in the program, “Buona Domenica” and is a hip-hop instructor in Rome.

“Na-shock ako at very proud ako na iniwan ko pa lahat ng trabaho para suportahan lang siya,” said Ramirez’s supportive mother, Lennie.

“Noong pinapanood po namin, sumisigaw po kami kasi proud po kami kasi siya lang Pinoy sa mga dancers,” said his friend Fatima.
